Complaints process

If you wish to complain about the service you have received or a product facilitated by us, then please contact Simon Evans at Clear Future Financial Planners, Suite C, The Old Dutch Barn, Westend, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 3GE. He will handle your complaint promptly and fairly.
 
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you have the right to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Full details of the FOS can be found on its website at www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk or

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) exists to protect clients of failed financial services firms.
 
You may be entitled to compensation if we or your product providers can no longer meet our/their financial obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. The FSCS only pays compensation for financial loss; poor investment performance is not covered.
 
The FSCS may provide compensation if an authorised financial services firm is unable to meet its obligations.  Investments are protected up to £85,000 per person, per firm if the investment provider fails. Cash held with banks or building societies is protected up to £120,000 per person, per bank (or £240,000 for joint accounts). Certain long‑term insurance products, such as life insurance, pension annuities and income protection, are generally covered in full, with no upper limit, if the insurer fails.
